The Pelican Eel is a mythical fish that only spawns in the jungle area of Sunken Wilds. The Pelican Eel may spawn in the deep south, near the Thief Monkey.
The Pelican Eel only spawns rarely, so you can try server hopping or logging in and out of the game to get better chances of seeing them first.
Kill The Pelican Eel
Unlike most of the fish you get in the game, you need to kill the Pelican Eel in order to get the drops from it. This means hitting it with your harpoon and ignoring the fishing mini-game, instead opting to take it down.
Use Drop Luck Potion
Do note: The Pelican Eel's spawn rate is random and by chance and the Pelican Eel Head isn't a guaranteed drop! Try using the Drop Luck Potion if you're aiming to get the Pelican Eel Head!

Higher tube and gun tiers are generally better, but this equipment recommendation serves as the baseline to successfully catch the Pelican Eel without running out of oxygen mid-catch!
