Catch Fish to Get XP

Abyss - Fishing Gameplay

The main way to get experience (XP) is to catch fish in the waters of the Abyss. Note that rarer fish will provide more XP when caught!

Chest Behind the Shop

You can also find and open various tiers of chests while exploring the Abyss. All chests grant XP in addition to their loot, and higher-tier chests will provide more of both XP and rewards.

Use XP Potions

XP Potion

XP Potions are consumable items that, when used, will increase the amount of XP you gain for a short duration. Plan first to maximize the benefits before using these, as they only last for a short while.

Equip XP Boost Races

Race XP Boost
Crab 5%
Vampire Squid 10%
Kraken 15%

Additionally, some Races in game have a passive XP Bonus that will increase how much XP you gain. Be on the lookout for the Crab, Vampire Squid, and Kraken Races for bonus XP!

Diver Club in Robux Shop

The Robux Shop in-game has the Diver Club game pass that grants a 50% XP Boost, greatly increasing your rate of XP gain. Note that it does cost Robux to buy this item.
