Use Death Glove Skills
Mashing Leopardon with combos up-close is a bit tedious due to its lengthy health bar, teleporation, and attacks. Use Death Glove skills to deplete its health quicker. Death Rain will continuously fire projectiles at it, Death Slow will give you more time to mash it with attacks, and Death Kick knocks it on its back, also allowing you to keep mashing it with attacks.
Destroy Leopardon's Pods
The pods that Leopardon creates are his teleporation points. If you destroy them, he won't be able to teleport away from you unless he creates more. This allows you to safely use Death Rain, without risking him teleporting away from its area of effect.
Hide Behind Cover
To avoid Leopardon's projectile attacks, hide behind cover so that the object blocks the projectile. In particular, watch out for the laser, which disables your Death Glove for a short period, and the multiplying shields. Note that the moving cube can also ram Leopardon's fellow aliens.
