Aim for Headshots

Commissars are not difficult to kill. Unlike stronger Automaton Enemies such as the Hulk, they do not have any heavy armor and will die within a few shots. If you want to kill a Commissar quickly, aim for headshots!

Stop It From Using a Flare Gun

Some Commissars may have the ability to call for reinforcements using a flare gun. When you see it do the animation shown above, kill it immediately.

If you fail to kill it on time, the Commissar will summon a Dropship, bringing more Automaton enemies to the battlefield!

How to Destroy a Dropship

Avoid the Commissar's Melee Attacks

Using its blade, Commissar's can execute melee attacks against you. When you see a Commissar approaching you, shoot it down immediately or run away from it to avoid taking damage!
