Is the Orbital Gas Strike Worth It?

The Orbital Gas Strike is effective against enemies, but also Helldivers alike. The smoke itself has an unclear AoE, capable of chipping away at your health even if you are not directly inside the smoke cloud but near enough to be damaged by it.

How to Unlock Orbital Gas Strike

Available after Reaching Level 3

Orbital Gas Strike can be unlocked for purchase after reaching level 3. You can buy this Stratagem for 4000 Requisition Slips in the Ship Management console located inside your ship.

How to Use Orbital Gas Strike

Throw on to Enemies

The Orbital Gas Strike will bring down its devastating firepower at the location you signal it to after 2 Seconds of throwing it.

Note that although this type of Stratagem is easy to use, it is also quite easy to mess it up. Avoid throwing the signal close to you or any of your squad mates to prevent friendly fire.

Use Ship Module Upgrades

Use Ship Modules to further increase the effectiveness of Stratagems on the field. Listed below are the following Ship Modules that augment and enhance the Orbital Gas Strike Stratagem:
