Hazes always appear beside Hollow Walkers and are tethered to them. You won't be able to damage the Hollow Walker if the Haze is present, so burst down the Haze then go for the host. Defeat the host immediately to prevent it from spawning the Haze again.
You can also use the drone to distract the host while you're fighting the Haze. This allows you to freely focus your attacks on the Haze while the host is distracted.

| Charging Strikes |
The Haze of Terror will form two limbs and charge then strike with both limbs twice. Dodge the initial charge and back away to have space between you and the strikes it does. |
| Blink Strike |
The Haze of Terror will disappear and reappear then try to strike you with its two limbs. Dodge when it reappears so you can avoid the strike. You can also interrupt it by staggering the Haze when it reappears. |
| Multiple Strikes |
The Haze of Terror will spasm and unleash multiple strikes with its limbs afterwards. When it spasms, make some space between you and the Haze either by dodging or moving away to avoid the strikes. |
| Purple Cube Attack |
The Haze of Terror will rise into the air and then come down, throwing purple cubes in multiple directions. Make enough space between you and the Haze to be able to dodge the attack easily. |

| Swing |
The Haze of Grief will form a glowing fist and swing once. Once you see the fist, dodge backwards or to the side to avoid it. |
| Swing and Slam |
The Haze of Grief will form a glowing fist and swing twice then immediately slam with two sharp-looking limbs. Once you see the fist, dodge backwards then immediately dodge back again to avoid the follow-up slam. |
| Single Slam |
The Haze of Grief will swing and slam the ground with a glowing limb. You can dodge backwards or to the side while the Haze is winding up this attack. |

| Double Slam Charge |
The Haze of Ecstacy will transform into a spiky ball and slam the ground, charge towards you, then slam the ground again. You can dodge backwards for the first slam, then create some space between you and the Haze for the follow-up attacks to avoid them. |
| Single Slam Charge |
The Haze of Ecstacy will form a transform into a pointed spike and charge at you then turn into a spiky ball and slam the ground. Dodge in any direction to avoid the charge then watch out for the follow-up slam. |

The Haze of Rage transforms into a small bar and spins twice. You can dodge in a direction to create some space between you and the spinning Haze. |
| Double Slam |
The Haze of Rage transforms into two bars and slams down on the ground twice. Dodge backward for the first slam when it initially transforms then do another to make sure the second slam doesn't hit you. |
| Spike Wall Attack |
The Haze of Rage transforms into a wall and launches spikes at you. This attack has some range so make sure there's enough space between you and the Haze or guard against it. |

The Haze of Terror is first encountered in Act 1, in the Village of Jova area. It will be tethered with an Artillery Walker. After that, it's an enemy you'll see in many areas throughout the game.
The Haze of Grief is first encountered in Act 1, in the Vyssa Hills area. It will be tethered with a Feral Walker. After that, it's an enemy you'll see in many areas throughout the game.
The Haze of Ecstacy is first encountered in Act 1, in the Village of Jova area. It will be tethered with an Artillery Walker. After that, it's an enemy you'll see in many areas throughout the game.
The Haze of Rage is first encountered in Act 1, during the tutorial against Lymbic entities. It will be tethered with a Primeval. After that, it's an enemy you'll see in many areas throughout the game.
