1. Speak with Lieutenant Zao Ru in the Village of Jova

Hell is Us - Go past the Blacksmith
Once Captain Vaas leaves the village for Pathem Abbey along with his soldiers, look for a small building with an ON Flag hanging on its walls. You can find this by going past the Blacksmith's Shop. A woman is resting on a table beside the building.

Hell is Us - Talk to Lieutenant Zao Ru and she will explain how she once had a photo of her daughter
Talk to the woman, Lieutenant Zao Ru, who was also one of the people you saved previously in a burning tunnel. She will reveal that she kept a picture of her daughter, which was locked away in a truck's safebox.

2. Look for the Photograph - Girl in the Tunnel

Hell is Us - Keep following the road until you find the tunnel
From Lieutenant Zao Ru's location, go to the marshes and look for a long car road. Follow that road until you find a tunnel at the end of it. This is the same tunnel where you found Victor Gaz and Lieutenant Zao Ru hiding in the maintenance room. You should be going to the right direction if you passed by the save point on a bridge.

Hell is Us - Take the Photograph - Girl among the boxes next to the truck
Inside the tunnel is a swarm of Hollow Walkers. Defeat them first before approaching the boxes next to the trucks. At this point, the trucks are not burning anymore and two boxes can be seen more clearly within its vicinity. Among these boxes, you can take the Photograph - Girl. This will activate the Good Deed.

3. Return the Photo to Lieutenant Zao Ru in the Village Jova

Hell is Us - Trade Photograph - Girl with Zao Ru in the Village of Jova

Take the Photograph - Girl and travel back to the Village of Jova. Go up to Lieutenant Zao Ru once again and trade this with her. Lieutenant Zao Ru will express her gratitude to you, which will conclude the Good Deed.

Where the Heart Is Rewards

All Quest Rewards

Rewards:
Glyph - Fury - Base Glyph - Fury - Base
Giver: Gildas Brom

These are the rewards you can get from upon completing the Where the Heart Is Good Deed. Return to the Watcher's Nest and speak with Gildas Brom to claim the rewards.

How to Unlock Where the Heart Is

Pick Up the Photograph - Girl in the Tunnel

Once you pick up the Photograph - Girl in the tunnel, Where the Heart Is will activate. You will need to return this to the lieutenant in the Village of Jova to accomplish this.

However, this Good Deed can only be accessed once the trucks are no longer burning in the tunnel. Lieutenant Zao Ru can only be found in the village once Captain Vaas has left for Pathem Abbey.

Where the Heart Is does not have a deadline and can be finished at any time in the game.
