Hazes are enemies that spawn with a Hollow Walkers. These are monsters of various shapes and colors based on their type. Hazes can range from Rage, Grief, Ecstacy, and Terror.

Enemies in Hell is Us can further be classified into Bosses. There are a total of four bosses currently in the game and they feature more attacks than normal enemies.
Enemies with Hazes are immune to damage until the Hazes get taken out, so prioritize on defeating them first. You can find out if Hollow Walkers have Hazes if they are glowing. The color of the glow also tells what Haze they have.
You can time your block when enemies turn red to parry them. Not only does this block the attack they do, but they also get staggered. You can use this window to deal more damage to them or even take them out.

Enemies in Hell is Us have a grade that is located beside their health bar. There are three enemy grades. The higher the grade, the more damage and HP they have.
Grade 1 enemies appear starting from Act 1, while Grade 2 enemies start appearing from the Lymbic Forge in Act 1 onwards. Grade 3 enemies start appearing from the Jelji area in Act 2 onwards.
In the game, you have a drone that you can use even in battle. Use the drone's modules and abilities to give you advantages in battle, like distracting the enemy. This allows you to take on others without getting ganged up on.
Remember that you don't only have your weapon to fight with, but your drone as well!
