Avoid Attacking During Raised Wing Attack

Hell is Us - Avoid Attacking During Raised Wing Attack

The Protector Walker raises one of its wings during one of its attacks. If you attack during this, it'll counterattack with a charge attack. Avoid attacking when it assumes this stance and you can hit it safely right after.

Another way to deal with this is by going behind it while its parrying. If you attack it from behind, you won't trigger the parry while also getting some free damage in.

The Protector Walker's Double Wing Charge can be parried when you guard at the right time. After it puts its wings in front, it'll turn red and you can guard during that time to parry it.

Moves Details
Raised Wing Attack
The Protector Walker raising its wing up, entering a stance. If it gets attacked, it will do a charge counterattack. Wait for the stance to end before you attack it.
Double Wing Charge
The Protector Walker charges forward with both of its wings. It will also turn red, which means its parryable. Dodge to the side or parry it when you see it lean forward and turn red.
Forward Charge
The Protector Walker charges forward with one of its wings. Dodge to the side or just walk away when you see it raising its wing up.

The Protector Walker is first encountered in Act 1, inside the Village of Jova. After that, it's an enemy you'll see in many areas throughout the game.
