Get Rotburn by hitting flesh-like stones in Ewefall and The Rot in the Woolhaven DLC of Cult of the Lamb. Learn how to get Rotburn in this guide and see its uses here.

Choose Rotburn Rooms in Woolhaven Dungeons
Rotburn can be mined from Rotburn rooms in Ewefall and The Rot. You're guaranteed to get one during your first run in Ewefall, specifically when Yngya tasks you with collecting five of them.

Gather from Chest Rewards
Rotburn can also drop from chests when clearing rooms, especially in The Rot. Simply clear all the rooms you enter, and there's a good chance one of the chests you open as you progress will contain Rotburn.

Mine from Dead Rotten Followers
When rotten followers die, these stones also appear, and you can mine them to get Rotburn as well!
Farm from Rotburn Mines
You can also place a Rotburn Mine in your camp to have a steady source of Rotburn. You can farm Rotburn from it as long as you have it in your cult.
Rotburn Mines can be unlocked as you progress through the story, and you can find them in the Woolhaven buildings tab. You'll also need 1 Divine Inspiration to unlock them.
Purchase from Gofernon
If you have less than 9 followers, you will not be able to enter the Woolhaven dungeons. Gofernon will then appear beside the blocked staircase to Ewefall, and he will sell you Rotburn, since you can't get any from dungeons. You can purchase it from him for 25 Gold each.

Once you have the ranch, you can also keep a Turtleish to harvest Rotburn. It yields Rotburn and is the only farm animal you can keep at your ranch that produces it!
Concecrate Charged Shard and Stone
If you have a refinery, you can use a Charged Shard and Stone to make Rotburn. Charged Shards can be obtained from Ewefall, while Stone is a common resource in most dungeons.
Can Also Use Rotgrit
Rotgrit can also be used as an alternative recipe for Rotburn. You can consecrate it at the refinery to make Rotburn.
Rotgrit can be obtained from Rotten Followers!
Acquire the Lost Bones Tarot Card
During your run, you can also use the Lost Bones tarot card if you come across it. This card increases the chance of enemies dropping Rotburn when defeated, allowing you to get more as you proceed further.
You can unlock this card from the Rotten Yngya Statue at your base if you have enough Rotten followers.
How to Use Rotburn
Unlock Rotburn Furnace
Rotburn is one of the items you need to gather early in the story as you unlock Woolhaven. Yngya will ask you to gather five of them before you can build your own Rotburn Furnace to survive the winter.
Fuel Rotburn Furnace
During Winter, you can use Rotburn to fuel Rotburn Furnaces. This keeps your followers warm and reduces the chances of them getting frozen.
Used for the Life to the Ice Ritual
Rotburn is also required to perform the Life to the Ice Ritual. This allows you to bring life to Snowlambs and have them as temporary followers to help with some cult tasks.
