Fire Missiles Inside its Mouth
Space Sheath's weak spots are the crystal orbs inside the multiple mouths lining its body. You can only shoot at the orb when the mouth is open. When the mouth closes, circle its body looking for the open mouth. Look for the white lens flare, as that signals the glow of an orb in an open mouth.
Use Boost to Dodge Projectiles
While shooting at the orbs, you'll have to dodge a lot of projectiles. Use boost for movement, especially in Phase 2, where the projectiles follow you around. Don't use the laser cannon, as that attack uses the boost fuel and reduces mobility.
Phase 3: Aim for Orb
In Phase 3, the orb inside the Space Sheath's mouths will fly outside of its body and fire projectiles at you. Fire missiles at the orb until the Space Sheath is defeated. Note that the orb flies back into the alien's mouth and reemerges from another mouth.
