A DLC expansion called The Order of Giants has been confirmed for the game. It will not be available immediately upon the game’s release, but instead be released at some point after the game has launched.
The Order of Giants DLC is automatically included in the Premium Edition, the Premium Upgrade, and the Collector’s Edition of the game. Once the DLC is released, players who have these versions should be able to access the new content immediately.
For those with the Standard Edition of the game or those playing on Game Pass, you can purchase the DLC once it has been made available on either Steam or Xbox. Make sure the platform you buy the DLC on matches the platform of your base game.
All Editions and Version Differences
The Order of Giants is a story DLC, so it is expected to add a new storyline, new puzzles, and possibly new side quests to the game.
Since it is an optional expansion, it likely won’t have much of an effect to the main story. However, you may be able to obtain unique items, outfits, or abilities that can help you throughout your playthrough.
New Gameplay Features and Mechanics
The DLC will be made available after the game is already released. It will likely be launched in early 2025 to give players enough time to finish the main story and encourage players who have finished the game to return to it.
It’s possible that it will launch alongside the PS5 release of the game, which is expected to be available in Spring 2025.
