The Bright Future mystery can be started in the Nazi Vehicle Garage restricted area after picking up either of the notes involved in the mystery. However, you may first encounter the chest you need to open before you discover this mystery.

Chest Location

The chest you need to open for this mystery is the one located south of the Meteorological Station, right next to Professor Omar’s research area. There are no notes or clues anywhere near this chest, so you may wonder how to open it if you haven’t found the mystery notes beforehand.

Both notes relating to this mystery, including the one with the chest code, are found in the Nazi Vehicle Garage.

The code for the chest is written plainly on one of the notes that are part of this mystery. You mainly have to focus on finding where the notes and the chest are.

1. Get Pohl's Letter and the Nazi Note from the Nazi Vehicle Garage restricted area.
2. Find the locked crate at the midpoint of the Sphinx and Khentkawes, and enter the code.
3. Run away before the dynamites inside detonate.

	Bright Future Step by Step Guide
1	In the western tent of the restricted Nazi Vehicle Garage, pick up Pohl's Letter on the table by the radio next to the dining area.
2	Go across to the eastern tent within the restricted area, and find the Nazi Note on top of one of the beds. The note mentions a locked crate located between "the Cat" and "the Queen". This refers to the Great Sphinx (the Cat) and the Tomb of Khentkawes (the Queen).
3	Leave the Nazi Vehicle Garage, and head south following the main road. The locked crate is located just along the main road, under a palm tree and across from a military truck. A guard should be in that area as well unless you’ve defeated him already beforehand.
4	According to the Nazi Note, the code for the chest is 0926. Enter this code, then brace yourself because it’s a trap!
5	Upon opening the crate, the two explosives inside will ignite. Run away before they detonate to prevent you from taking damage. This completes the Bright Future mystery.
