Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has an autosave that periodically saves your progress and creates a checkpoint when loading. Read on to learn how to save the game and how to force an autosave to create a checkpoint.

How to Save the Game

Game Has an Autosave

There is no manual save in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. However, the game will periodically autosave your game progress when progressing through the story, completing fieldwork or mysteries, or simply moving to a new location.

Autosave Icon Appears on the Upper Right

The Autosave Icon, featuring Indy's iconic Fedora, will appear on the upper right corner of the screen to indicate that the game is autosaving.

This also serves as your last checkpoint when loading the game from the start menu.

Game Loads at the Most Recent Autosave

The game will automatically load your most recent autosave when loading up the game. The main menu will also show the location of your last save before you actually load your last checkpoint.

How to Force an Autosave

Fast Travel to Another Location

While there's no manual save in the game, you can force an autosave by fast traveling to another location. In some areas such as The Vatican, there are sign posts where you can fast travel to a previously visited area.

Fast traveling to any of these areas will force the game to autosave to save your progress.

Manually Changing Locations Forces an Autosave

If there are no sign posts in the area, simply traveling to another location manually will force the game to autosave and create a new checkpoint.
