Gold Path Trial Solution Summary

The objective of the puzzle is to align the pillars with their corresponding points. You will know that the pillar is correctly aligned when the vent opens up and reveals a flame.

1. Reach the far-right corner of the room to enter the control hall with the chains.
2. Align the pillars so that each pillar ignites the appropriate vent.
3. Pull the lever by the door and escape the room.

From the main chamber, take the door on the right to begin the Gold Trial.

Continue down the corridor until you reach the locked door. Go through the small hole in the wall and put the Ancient Bust on the pedestal to unlock the door.

Go up the stairs towards the end of the hall. Pull the chain to open the door revealing the Gold Trial on the HUD.

The objective of the gold trial is to move all the pillars so that the flames will appear.

Place the third pillar near the wall until the flames appear. Next, look for the whip interactable.

Climb up your whip, then swing to onto the pillar. Gina will then move the pillar towards the other side. When you reach the other side swing off.

Jump down the hole onto the second pair of chain for moving the pillars.

Start aligning the pillar to its corresponding location. Do the same for the second pillar.

Open the door at the end, then do the same for the pillars on the opposite side.

Once all the pillars are in their correct positions, pull the lever to open the door signaling the end of the Gold Path Trial.

Go to the end of the room to turn on the Gold Forge.

Once you return to the central chamber, you can now whip yank the lever to pour water down the molten metal and create the Gold Key.

Attach the newly forged key to the large door to unlock it.

The Gold Path Trial is connected to the Silver Path Trial, and vice-versa. You will need to complete both to acquire the Gold and Silver Keys needed to progress through the Fountain Underground.
