A Free Spirit is a mystery unlocked upon interacting with the missing cat poster on a bulletin board past a guarded checkpoint in Via Di Belvedere. This is not a restricted area as long as you’re wearing your Clerical Suit, so don’t worry about going through the guards.
However, there is a Captain wearing a half-yellow hat patrolling the area directly in front of the bulletin board and tower entrance. Captains can see through disguises, but as long as you don’t enter his direct line of sight, you should be safe.

A Free Spirit Solution Summary
Father Bianchi is missing his beloved cat, Signor Smushki. Use your camera to find and take a photo of this cat to help him out.
1. Check out the missing cat poster on the bulletin board in front of the Tower of Nicholas V.
2. Take pictures of the cats in the area using your camera until you find Signor Smushki, the black cat, along the rooftops.
3. Post a photo of Signor Smushki onto the missing cat poster.

 Examine the Missing Cat Flyer on the bulletin board in front of the Tower of Nicholas V entrance at Via Di Belvedere. |

 Signor Smushki can be found on the rooftops, but there are four other cats you can pass by along the way that you can take pictures of to record in your notes for this mystery. A black and white cat can be found by the tree in the small area beside the pharmacy. Take out your camera and snap a photo of this cat. |

 Go to the small gated area with piles of roof tiles inside and a broken wooden pallet in front of the gate. Jump onto the piles of tiles to get onto the low roof, then jump onto the higher roof. An orange cat can be found lounging there for you to take a picture of. |

 From here, jump onto the roof eaves on the side and walk up to the rooftops of Via De Belvedere. A white cat can be found and photographed enjoying the sights. |

 Your target, Signor Smushki, is visible from where the white cat is. Walk along the rooftops, heading towards the garden area with the painters. Take a picture of the black cat sitting by its lonesome. |

 There is one more cat that you can take a picture of before you post the correct photo. Head towards the painters on the roof, and climb down the ladder. Fall onto the lower platform where you can find a brown cat on the scaffolding. Take its photo to complete your notes for this mystery. |

 Go all the way down, and head back to the bulletin board in front of the Tower of Nicholas the V. When prompted, press the buttons shown to place your photo of Signor Smushki onto the missing cat poster. |
