The House of God mystery involves solving the Basilica replica puzzle box in the art gallery on the second floor of the Apostolic Palace.
The Apostolic Palace is a restricted area if you’re not wearing the Blackshirt Disguise, so be careful when going here if you don’t have this disguise yet. Thankfully, no enemies can be found in this room.
House of God Puzzle Solution
House of God Solution Summary
The solution to the House of God puzzle box is pretty simple. The only things you need to move are the lever in front and the objects revealed inside.
1. Move the lever to open a compartment on the side of the puzzle box opposite the direction you moved the lever to.
2. Get objects from the left side compartments and insert them into other parts of the puzzle box.

 Pick up the Cleaning Note on top of the St. Peter's Basilica replica in the art gallery of the Apostolic Palace. You'll find out that this beautiful replica is actually a puzzle box. |

 Move the lever of the puzzle box to the right. This opens a compartment on the left side of the box. |
| 3 |
 Pick up the Relief Medallion from the left compartment, then go back to the front of the Basilica replica. Move the handle all the way to the left in order to open a compartment on the right side of the box. |

 Place the medallion in this right-side compartment. It should then open another compartment at the bottom of the left side. |
| 5 |
 Grab the Golden Challice from the bottom left compartment, and place it in the square-shaped groove in front of the Basilica replica. This opens the compartment below and completes the puzzle. |
House of God Mystery Rewards
Vatican Relics Book
You can obtain the Vatican Relics book by completing this mystery and opening the main compartment of the Basilica puzzle box. This book automatically registers the relics in the area to your map, which can make collecting them a lot easier.
Once you’ve obtained this book, the relic locations at the Vatican can be viewed by opening your journal and highlighting Riddles of the Ancients under Discoveries.
