The Arc Thrower is not meant to be treated as if it were a rifle. Most players would make the mistake of using it as the would a normal gun. Due to the nature of its ammunition, it is a good choice for more covert killings behind cover. The lightning will not always shoot straight making it hard for beginners to get a handle of how to effectively use this weapon.

How to Unlock Arc Thrower

Available after Reaching Level 15

Arc Thrower can be unlocked for purchase after reaching level 15. You can buy this Stratagem for 7000 Requisition Slips in the Ship Management console located inside your ship.

How to Use Arc Thrower

Throw and Equip

The Arc Thrower can be called in the form of a supply drop. Throw the Stratagem in a location where you can pick up the supply—preferably close to you. Once the supply drops, interact with it to obtain and equip the Arc Thrower.
