How to Unlock the Fish Pond

Reach Level 15 and Talk to The Guy

Abyss - How to Unlock Fish Pond

You can unlock the Fish Pond after reaching Level 15 by talking to The Guy and accepting his quest. The Guy is standing to the right of the Tubes shop, beside a cage containing fish.

Note that you will also need to have unlocked the Teleporter to get to the Fish Pond.

How to Use the Fish Pond

  1. Teleport to the Fish Pond
  2. Buy Sea Feed From Jonathan
  3. Place Fish and Feed in Your Pond
  4. Collect Roe Over Time
  5. Sell Roe to The Guy
  6. Get Upgrades From Bobert

Teleport to the Fish Pond

Abyss - Teleport to Fish Pond

Use the Teleporter to go to the Fish Pond. There will be a fish icon in Forgotten Deep that leads to the Fish Pond. You get a personal Fish Pond with your name on it beside other players' Fish Ponds.

If you can't find your Fish Pond in the ground level, you can use one of the blue jump pads to go to the upper level where more Fish Ponds are located.

Buy Sea Feed From Jonathan

Abyss - Get Fish Feed

You can buy Fish Feed or Algae Feed from Jonathan right there at the Fish Pond. Algae Feed can speed up Roe production by 5% while Fish Feed speeds it up by 10%.

If you have the funds, you can stock up on Fish Feed and place them in your Portable Stash for when you need them.

Place Fish and Feed in Your Pond

Abyss - Deposit Fish

You can place up to 6 fish total inside the Fish Pond at the start, and leave Sea Feed for them. You can deposit Common to Legendary fish into the Fish Pond.

Fish that drop head and meat such as the Whale or any Mythical rarity fish cannot be put in the Fish Pond.

Collect Roe Over Time

Abyss - Get Roe

Roe gets produced every 5~10 minutes, and can be hastened by Sea Feed. It also speeds up when you go offline. Different fish have different Roe production speed depending on their weight, species, and rarity!

Sell Roe to The Guy

Abyss - Sell Roe

You can sell the Roe you collect to The Guy for different prices. The heavier, rarer, and mutated fish produce more expensive Roe. The later in the game you get the fish, the higher the price of their Roe!

Passive Way to Get Income

Using the Fish Pond and selling Roe is a good way to earn money while offline or doing other activities in the game! Just remember to collect the Roe and sell them before they max out the Fish Pond's storage capacity.

How to Earn Money Fast

Get Upgrades From Bobert

Abyss - Upgrades from Bobert

You can upgrade your Fish Pond's Fish Capacity, Roe Storage, and Decoration from the NPC Bobert, also located at the Fish Pond. Upgrading the Decoration will increase Roe production speed.
