Adjust Your Sensitivity
Before starting a match, adjust your look and aim sensitivity to the settings that feel most comfortable for you. To adjust sensitivity, head to the settings and go to Mouse and Keyboard for Mouse Sensitivity or Controller for the Sensitivity Multiplier under the respective tabs.
Best DPI for Fortnite Ballistic
First Person Mode Setting
For returning players, we still suggest tinkering your sensitivity settings, as the First-Person mode offers a slightly different experience compared to the traditional Third-Person aiming in Fortnite.

Take some time to learn the gadgets in Fortnite Ballistic to gain an edge. Each tool, from shields to smoke grenades, has unique uses to help you outsmart opponents and adapt to different scenarios.

Get Familiar With the Maps
Learn the maps in Fortnite Ballistic to gain a strategic advantage. Knowing key angles, callouts, and rotations, will help you plan your moves effectively.
Manage Your Credits
Manage what you buy smartly to have enough credits to buy what you need.
The Pistol Round (800 Credits)
For the first round, also known as the pistol round, we recommend purchasing an Instant Shield and consumables.
Economy Rounds (0–4000 Credits)
If credits are low, such as if you lose the pistol round, you (and ideally your team) can choose to save credits to have a full buy in the next round.
You can also opt for a force buy, wherein you try to maximize the credits you have to create a loadout, usually being an SMG, a bit of consumables, and shields instead of an Assault Rifle or Sniper.
Full Buy Rounds (4000+ Credits)
On rounds where you and your team have a good amount of credits, complete your loadout with an Assault Rifle or Sniper, full Instant Shields, grenades, and your Flex Gadgets.

Crosshair Placement At Head-Level
Most of the time, your reticle should be aimed at head-level, so that you'll have a better chance at hitting headshots on your opponents.
Aim At Chest Level When Sniping
If you're using the Reaper Sniper, aim at chest level to maximize its one shot one kill potential.
Practice Shooting and Recoil
Master recoil control by learning your gun's spray pattern and countering it with aim adjustments, mainly pulling down your mouse or stick as you fire. Consistent practice builds muscle memory!
Use Gadgets and Grenades
Don’t forget to use your Flex Gadgets and grenades in Fortnite Ballistic! It's easy to forget and focus solely on aim fights, but gadgets can be game-changers when securing rounds.

Anonymous 12 monthsUnfortunately, it is not possible to change key map for this game mod. On an AZERTY keyboard, the Q key is used to straff left, but on this game it displays the score board, so it is mostly unplayable.
