How to Get Damage Trap

Find as Floor Loot or in Chests

Damage Trap Loot

Damage Traps can be found in Chests, Care Packages, or as floor loot, and only come in a blue variant.

How to Use Damage Trap

Place Damage Traps on Floors

Damage Trap Controller UI
Mouse and Keyboard For MnK users, press your Trap button (Y by default) and left click the floor to place the trap.
Controller On controller, press the Build-Mode button (B/Circle) and select the Trap by pressing X/Square. Place the trap on the floor by pressing RT/R2.

The Damage Trap can only be placed on the floor, and cannot be placed on walls or ceilings.

Trap Triggers With Enemy Proximity

The trap will be triggered when an enemy walks over it, and deals 150 damage to all enemies in the trap's area.
