In the Game UI settings, go to the Reticle section and you'll be able to see the Spread Indicator. You can tweak this by setting it on or off, and it'll show on your crosshair in Fortnite Ballistic. This shows the firing error of the gun while moving.

For the recoil indicator, go to the Game UI settings and look at the Reticle section. You'll be able to see the Recoil Indicator. You can turn this on or off, and it'll show on your crosshair in Fortnite Ballistic.
When turned off, the crosshair stays in the middle while shooting. If it's turned on, the crosshair follows where your shots land.
You can also turn off your crosshair, but this is not recommended since you won't see where your bullets or shots will land!
