Aim Down Sights (ADS) allows you to zoom in for better accuracy in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. Learn how to ADS and which guns perform best with ADS in this guide!

How to Aim Down Sights (ADS)

Press the Aim Button Using Any Gun

Press the Aim button (Right Clight/LT/L2) using any gun to have your character look through the weapon sights, providing a more precise aiming reticle.

You’ll know ADS is active when your view zooms in. For scoped weapons, the view shifts to first-person and let's aim directly through the scope.

Use a Scoped Gun

For quests involving ADS, it's best to use a scoped gun, such as the Holo Twister Assault Rifle and Veiled Precision SMG. These weapons make it easier to tell when ADS is active while also providing better accuracy when aiming.
