Fortnite OG Ranked uses the same ranked levels as Chapter 6 Season 1 Ranked and Ranked Ballistic.
Fortnite OG Ranked released on December 16, 2024, at 9 AM Eastern Time. You can now relive the OG maps and wield the classic weapons, while competing against players of similar skill levels in the same lobby!
Higher placement will naturally net you more positive gain in Ranked. Getting single digit placements will be the safe zone of getting the most ranked gains.
The higher your kill count, the more points you earn. This combined with how well you placed in the match will determine how many points will be added or subtracted!
The type of kill you get matters as well. For example, eliminating a Champion-ranked player in Storm 9, is worth substantially more than defeating a Bronze-ranked player in Storm 1.
Your ranks in Ranked OG modes will be entirely separate from those in Normal Fortnite and Ballistic. Previous rank achievements in other game modes will not impact your OG rank progression.
Your ranks for OG Ranked Battle Royale (builds) and OG Ranked Zero Build will progress separately.
Repeatable Ranked Quests can be completed in both Ranked Battle Royale/Zero Build and Ranked OG. Ranked Rewards for OG and Normal Fortnite are shared!
