How to Beat Morgan the Collector Elwynn Forest Campaign Guide

Morgan is the boss for Campaign Map 1-4 of the Elwynn Forest Zone in Warcraft Rumble. Read on to learn how to beat Heroic Morgan, the enemies that spawn along it, rewards for beating it, as well as the map layout and recommended setup for Morgan!

Morgan's henchman guards the side entrance. The road switch can be used to avoid the henchman.

Defeating Morgan will also unlock the G.R.I.D. where you can buy new Minis to add to your deck and collection. The Minis in the shop refreshes and changes, but you will initially have three Tank Minis to buy from to expand your options.

Go For a Beginner-Friendly Deck

This is more of a beginner friendly deck as it is the earliest decks you'll be given by default. You'll have your Flying Minis, Ranged Minis, and Melee Minis. The game will then give you a tutorial on how you should deal with certain enemy types.

Your leader may also vary depending on who you got as a reward from the Mother Fang fight. This will not matter as much though, since all leaders are strong at this point of the game.

How to Beat Heroic Morgan the Collector

Below are the following guides to help you complete the Heroic Campaign Map of Morgan the Collector.

1. Morgan is Guarded by Two Giant Henchmen

Morgan Is Now Guarded by Two Giant Henchmen

For this Heroic version of Morgan the Collector, he will now be accompanied by two Defias Bandits with each one occupying a lane. The Defias Bandits are now larger and faster compared to when you fought them during the normal campaign.

Use Banshees To Possess the Defias Bandits

You could take advantage of the enemy Defias Bandits by having Banshees possessed them in battle. Be sure that you have Minis distracting the Defias Bandits in order for the possession to work.

Capture the Enemy Tower

You will have to capture the enemy tower on the right lane so your Minis could close the distance to Morgan. It is recommended that you send out your stronger Minis on the right lane to make capturing the enemy tower easier.

Mine Ores on the Left Lane

Send out your Kobolds or Dark Iron Miners on the left lane so that you could easily replenish your gold. Be sure to have them accompanied by other Minis to increase their chances of survival.

How to Beat Morgan the Collector

Avoid Morgan's Henchman

Before you start the battle, take a look at the map and you will find Morgan's Henchman guarding the top of the left lane. Thankfully, your Minis can avoid him by clicking on the blue arrow on the ground to switch them to the right lane.

Capture Morgan's Guard Tower

Additionally, you will want to capture the guard tower on the right lane by sending out strong ground units like Gnoll Brute and Darkspear Troll. If you have Sneed as your leader, you can also summon him on the right since he is a strong siege unit.

Once you have captured it, you can start spawning your Minis there instead so that they can reach Morgan faster and overwhelm him.

Do Not Summon Flying Minis

It is recommended you do not summon your flying minis, such as Gryphon Rider, in this fight because Morgan has a strong attack that deals heavy damage to multiple flying units. If you must, you can have them support your other units, but they should not be the majority.

Send Kobolds on the Left Lane

You may also want to send your Kobolds on the left lane since all of the ore veins are there. When you do, also have a strong unit like Gnoll Brute present on the lane to protect them from any incoming enemies.

Morgan the Collector Map Layout

Elwynn Forest 1-4 has two lanes. On the left lane, you have a Switch that can redirect your troops should you need to avoid the stealthed Defias Henchman that guards the side entrance. On the right, you have an Enemy Tower. It is recommended to take the enemy tower and take the side entrance so you can attack from the front and side.
