This deck relies on controlling crucial lanes with tanky units while saving Fast and Unbound units for surprise attacks. It will require paying attention to and countering enemy units to use well.

This build relies heavily on tanks. Having four tanks in your arsenal means there should always be one available as an option to summon. Capitalizing on the number of tanks, each has a different specialty if you want or have to play reactively.

This build has two ranged units for two different purposes. You use the Darkspear Troll for lane pushes and the Huntress for catching up to armies and helping with Squad or Flying enemy units.

The purpose of your flying units for this build is the clean-up crew. They are used to kill lone enemy units that have wandered deep into your territory. And with their fast trait, you can use them to catch up to your armies to capitalize on your momentum.

How to Play Cairne Bloodhoof Tank

  1. Initiate Pushes with a Tank and a Darkspear Troll
  2. Spawn Huntress as Needed
  3. Harpies for Single Units Deep in Your Territory
  4. Quilboar for Distraction

Initiate Pushes with a Tank and a Darkspear Troll

Tank Mini Tank Role
Cairne Bloodhoof Use against big armies
Fire Elemental Use against squads
Stonehoof Tauren Use against low HP enemies

For this build, you want to initiate lane pushes with a tank and a Darkspear Troll. If you're lucky with the options you have, you can play reactively and spawn the specific tank needed for a lane based on what your opponents have summoned.

Spawn Huntress as Needed

The Huntress is your first secret weapon for this build. Having the fast trait means she can easily catch up with your armies. If your troops are having trouble with a lane, whether with a powerful enemy unit or because of the sheer number of enemy units, then that's when you spawn the Huntress and have her catchup.

You can also spawn the Huntress when you're gaining momentum in a lane and want to capitalize.

Harpies for Single Units Deep in Your Territory

The Harpies are your clean-up crew and your tower back-up. Due to their low health, they are not viable for pushes. However, their relatively low cost, Squad and Fast traits, and Talon Dive talent allow them to rush and kill lone enemy units easily, as long as they don't have both Ranged and AoE traits.

The role of the Harpies will allow you to save your more powerful units for pushing lanes.

Quilboar for Distraction

The Quilboar is your second secret weapon for this build. Choose the Tunnel Vision talent for your Quilboars to summon them behind Aoe enemies and towers, diverting their attack direction and allowing your main army a relatively safe passage, buying them some time to deal a lot of damage. You can also use their tanky nature if your ranged units are left pushing alone.
