Charlga Razorflank Low Cost Deck Build | |||
---|---|---|---|
Charlga Razorflank | Quilboar | Gnoll Brute | Prowler |
Harpies | Murloc Tidehunters | Whelp Eggs |
This deck focuses on deploying tank minis to quickly push through lanes, with Charlga Razorflank herself serving as backline support with her rooting attacks. Aside from the Whelp Eggs, all of the minis are all Beast-type and will receive the buff from Prowler's Pack Leader talent.
Since Charlga's Spirit Tangle Talent causes minis on your hand to share the same cost, the minis we've chosen for this build are all 3 Gold Cost or less to avoid unintentionally causing you to pay in excess what a mini would normally cost.
Mini | Traits |
---|---|
Quilboar |
・Cycle
・Melee ・One-Target ・Resistant ・Tank ・Unbound |
Gnoll Brute |
・AoE
・Melee ・Tank |
Prowler |
・Fast
・Melee ・One-Target ・Tank |
Quilboar has multiple roles in this deck, but you'll mostly want to use him as the main tank for distracting towers and bosses since they're Unbound. It's also the main mini you'll use to grab Treasure Chests or secure Meeting Stones early.
Gnoll Brute is your basic melee tank unit and will mosty serve to bolster your forces when pushing lanes. It's also the only AOE melee tank on your deck and is vital in taking care of opposing squads.
Prowler is the fastest melee mini on your deck and is best deployed together with your other beast minis so that it can grant them the Pack Leader buff. This mini is also the ideal counter against slow ranged units since it can usually deal enough damage to kill them in 2 or 3 hits.
Mini | Traits |
---|---|
Charlga Razorflank |
・Attack Root
・Bombard ・Cycle ・One-Target ・Percent Damage ・Ranged |
Murloc Tidehunters |
・Cycle
・Fast ・Ranged ・Squad |
Chalga Razorflank is this deck's leader and will mostly serve as a support role in the team. She's very frail and is best deployed behind the tanks where she can safely root down opposing minis for your other forces to take care of.
Murloc Tidehunters are one of the frailer minis in your deck and are easily taken out by Spells or AOE attacks, but their fast attack speed mean that they can easily take down flying minis on thier own as long as they're behind your tanks.
Mini | Traits |
---|---|
Harpies |
・Fast
・Flying ・Squad |
Whelp Eggs |
・Elemental
・Flying ・Hatching ・Squad ・Unbound |
Harpies are your main Flying mini and can quickly overpower and decimate the enemy's melee minis provided that you have melee unit that can quickly take down ranged minis. They are also very cheap, meaning it's possible to place multiple groups of them after a few cycles to overwhelm the enemy.
Whelp Eggs are the only non-Beast mini in your team and will not receive the Prowler's Pack Leader buff. That said, they still play an important role in your team as they serve as both trap and a means of defense against encroaching melee tanks that can push through your forces such as the Earth Elemental.
They are best placed in lanes where the enemies are pushing, as well as close to your towers since opposing melee units will often prioritize attacking the eggs over the towers.
Mini | Best Talent |
---|---|
Charlga Razorflank | Cavernous Mists Deploy cost reduced by 1 Gold. |
Cavernous Mists reduces Chargla Razorflank's Gold cost to just 1. This helps further reduce the overall cost of the other minis on your deck, allowing you to easily deploy them to overwhelm your enemies.
Mini | Best Talent |
---|---|
Quilboar | Tunnel Vision Deploy much more quickly |
Gnoll Brute | Rabid Reduce deploy cost by 1 Gold and gain the Cycle trait. |
Prowler | Pack Leader Grants nearby Beast allies 30% additional Damage. |
Tunnel Vision ensures Quilboar deploys immediately, removing the small window of vulnerability as its emerging from the ground. This allows it to quickly grab treasure chests and ensure that it grabs the tower or boss' attention immediately.
Rabid reduces Gnoll Brute's Gold cost to 2 Gold while also giving it the Cycle trait. This further reduces the overall cost of your other minis on deck, making it more efficient for you to deploy your units.
Pack Leader causes Prowler to grant nearby Beast allies 30% additional damage. All of your minis except for the Whelp Eggs will receive this buff, so it's best to deploy Prowler alongside your other minis so they get the attack boost.
Mini | Best Talent |
---|---|
Murloc Tidehunters | Safety Bubble Deploy with a bubble that blocks the first attack |
Safety Bubble grants your two Murloc Tidehunters an invincibility shield when deployed, giving them more time to attack ranged and far away melee units with their attacks.
Mini | Best Talent |
---|---|
Harpies | Infectious Swipes Gain Poison |
Whelp Eggs | Flame Burst Damage nearby enemies when hatching |
Infectious Swipes grants each Harpy poison on their attacks. Coupled with their attack speed, this allows them to quickly take out even the tankiest melee units in just a few hits and can help burn down towers and bosses provided they don't get hit!
Flame Burst grants the Whelp Eggs an AOE attack when hatching. This makes them a great defensive unit since the blast is often enough to take out weak Squad units that are trying to swarm your towers.
Start each batlte by deploying your Tank minis, prioritizing Quilboar and then Gnoll Brute. This is because Prowler is the most expensive unit at 3 Gold so it's best to deploy that mini when Charlga's RNG reduces it to either 2 or 1 Gold Cost.
Once your main tanks are making significant push to the lanes, deploy Charlga Razorflank if she's available or the Harpies to help with the push. If the enemy deploys Flying minis though, prioritize the Murloc Tidehunters to prevent your tanks from being killed.
Prowler is best deployed when you have 3 or more Beast forces pushing the lane so that more of your allies get the Pack Leader buff
A good example is when your main forces are just about to arrive at a Tower or Boss, and can make a big difference especially in maps where there are fast-moving minis that can interrupt your tower or boss push.
