List of Traits: Unit Types Explained
Below are the following guides to help you complete the Heroic Campaign Map of Mother Fang.
Aside from the increased difficulty level when facing the Heroic version Mother Fang, she will also employ a new gimmick wherein her Kobolds or Dark Iron Miners spawn Spiderlings every time they mine ores.
This will give Mother Fang an advantage when it comes to the number of Minis she can deploy towards your base.
Similar to the normal campaign map, you will need to capture the Meeting Stone located on the left lane. Capturing the Meeting Stone will give you an advantage when it comes to advancing your Minis further towards Mother Fang.
After you've captured the Meeting Stone, begin sending your Minis to its location so they could clear some distance towards Mother Fang.
Ranged Minis will again be integral when completing the Heroic Map, given their offensive capability to deal damage on both lanes.
In this case, we recommend using the Darkspear Troll as your Ranged Mini and sending him on the left lane to hurl spears on both lanes.
Mother Fang will be sending out Spiderlings this time around when you face her during the Heroic Campaign. You will need Minis that have an AoE Trait to deal widespread damage towards these buggy obstacles.
We recommend using Gnoll Brute to bring on the widespread damage towards the Spiderlings. Back your Gnoll Brute with a Ranged Mini like Darkspear Troll to increase its chances of survival.
Below are the following guides to help you complete the Campaign Map of Mother Fang.
This fight will be significantly easier if you capture the Meeting Stone on the map. You can do this by sending a non-Flying Mini on the left lane. The Gnoll Brute would be the best Mini for this since they are tanky.
Once you have captured the point, start spawning your units on it so they can reach Mother Fang and attack her quicker.
There are several ore veins on the Right Lane of the map. Take advantage of this by sending your Kobolds there to get more gold for spawning Minis.
Be wary though, since Mother Fang will send in a lof ot units on that lane too. Make sure to have a Gnoll Brute or a Gryphon Rider there to protect them from incoming enemies.
It is also advisable to send your Ranged Minis, such as Darkspear Troll on the left lane. This is because ranged units are able to attack enemies on the other side since they have the high ground. This lets them deal damage efficiently.
Mother Fang will sometimes send out Angry Chickens to overwhelm you. However, you can manage their numbers by using Chain Lightning to clear them out instantly.
Elwynn Forest 1-2 has two lanes. Deploy units on the left lane to take the upper route and control the Meeting Stone. Deploy units on the right lane and take the lower route giving access to more Gold Veins. Taking the high ground and controlling the Meeting Stone lets you deploy troops closer to Mother Fang, while going low gets you more gold provided that you can defeat enemy forces on your way.
