The Sneed Focused Siege Deck Build is an aggressive, objective-focused deck that uses mainly siege units to gain the gold advantage. Read on for the best leader and minis for this build, deck build traits, and how to play and strategies!
Sneed Focused Siege Deck Build | |||
---|---|---|---|
Sneed | Warsong Raider | Stonehoof Tauren | Goblin Sapper |
Blizzard | Smoke Bomb | Harpies |
The primary objective of this deck is to take secondary objectives from the opponent. Sneed's passive ability ramps up our economy game when Siege minis take towers, chests, and meeting stones.
This allows us the opportunity to push an early game advantage and win the game before the enemy even realizes what's happening.
Mini | Traits |
---|---|
Goblin Sapper |
・Cycle
・Siege Damage ・Siege Specialist ・Squad |
Goblin Sappers are the minis that deal the highest Siege damage in the game. Utilizing these minis well means we'll be taking towers quite easily, which in turn, means we'll be triggering Sneed's passive gold bonus more frequently.
Mini | Traits |
---|---|
Stonehoof Tauren |
・Charge
・Melee ・One-Target ・Tank |
Warsong Raider |
・Fast
・Melee ・One-Target ・Siege Damage ・Tank |
Stonehoof Tauren is a fantastic counter to most of the popular Ranged minis, such as Huntresses, Necromancers, and even Darkspear Trolls. Additionally, this unit makes a fantastic tank and secondary treasure taker.
Warsong Raiders are our back-up plan for when an enemy has cheap spells or answers against our Goblin Sappers. Essentially, these units will be used to split-push lanes parallel to the Sappers as well as take chests for additional gold.
Mini | Traits |
---|---|
Harpies |
・Fast
・Flying ・Squad |
Harpies play a defensive role in the deck. These minis will typically be used to counter Melee or other Flying minis.
Mini | Traits |
---|---|
Blizzard |
・AoE
・Elemental ・Frost ・Spell |
Smoke Bomb |
・AoE
・Cycle ・Spell |
Blizzard acts as both an offensive spell and a defensive spell. Furthermore, it can be used aggressively to deal damage to structures, finished off towers with a sliver of HP remaining.
Smoke Bomb is utilized as a cheap way to accelerate our Sappers to lightspeed, giving them the ability to take objectives in the blink of an eye.
Mini | Best Talent |
---|---|
Sneed | Lead with Greed Gain an additional +2 Gold when Sneed triggers Sneed Before Greed. |
Lead with Greed doubles the gold we gain from Sneed's passive. This empowers our deck to play even more aggressively, while also giving us the gold we need to play Blizzard as needed.
Mini | Best Talent |
---|---|
Goblin Sapper | Rocket Powered Turbo Boots Move twice as fast and gain the Fast trait |
Stonehoof Tauren | Momentum After connecting a charge, immediately charge a second time if possible. |
Warsong Raider | Razing Focus Become a Siege unit, ignoring enemy Minis. |
Rocket Powered Turbo Boots essentially ensures our sappers make it to their final destination. Coupled with Smoke Bomb's talent, our sappers will arrive at enemy structures long before units are even finished with their spawning animation.
Momentum is used as a way to guarantee Stonehoof's Charge on a Ranged mini. Necromancers hiding behind Skeletons, or even Huntresses that are situated behind a Tank will not be safe.
Razing Focus makes it so that Warsong Raider will reach objectives with as much HP as possible. This translates into more damage on enemy structures since the Warsong Raider can stand beneath it for longer.
Mini | Best Talent |
---|---|
Harpies | Talon Dive Deal double damage on 1st attack |
Talon Dive for our Harpies grants this mini the ability to kill tankier units per deploy. This also means that hostile minis already hitting your tower will die much faster since you will typically be deploying this mini as a counter to threats.
Mini | Best Talent |
---|---|
Blizzard | Icecrown Summons an additional Blizzard at your Base. |
Smoke Bomb | Through The Shadows Affected minis Move 50% faster until unstealthed. |
Icecrown allows us to use Blizzard aggressively more often. Aggressively deployed minis like Skeleton Party, Quilboars, and S.A.F.E. Pilot can be defended against while also using Blizzard on enemy structures or incoming minis.
Through The Shadows is present in the build as a way to accelerate our sappers while also protecting them. This also forces the enemy to answer our sapper push with a Spell, or tank the damage if they don't have one equipped.
Early aggression is the key to winning with this build. Send out Warsong Raider for chests while simultaneously trying to sneak our sappers to enemy towers.
Winning the early economy game allows you to afford deploying expensive minis like Sneed and Stonehoof Tauren before your enemy has gold prepared for any answers.
Use the enemy's panic against them by sending out more sappers while they're busy looking for answers against Sneed.
Always deploy your sappers undere the cover of smoke. This protects them while also boosting their movespeed, allowing them to make it to their intended destinations very quickly.
The deck comes equipped with hyper-aggressive minis, while also having access to contigency plans in the form of Icecrown Blizzard.
When facing off against another hyper-aggressive deck, try to base race the enemy. Chances are that you will come out ontop thanks to the sapper + smoke bomb combo.
The faster you can spend your gold, the more sappers you'll be able to deploy. This usually means you're taking more towers, which then means you've got more gold to cycle through your deck.
