Seorin Enters the SS Rank

Seorin, the latest SSR Ranger, is a character that can easily vaporize a shield in Solo Leveling: Arise.

Compared to other Rangers in the game, she can use her skills to dodge or reposition quickly and giving tactical advantage in battle. She can fit well in a Water Attribute Team with her as the Main DPS or a Sub-DPS.

Hunter Tier List Criteria

SS Tier	Absolutely broken and should be your top priority to use. DPS: Godly damage especially when you invest on them. Support: Best supports in the game due to their insane buff and must-haves when buffing your team.
S Tier	Characters that are great to have on your team. The meta characters of the game. DPS: Great skills and stats from the get-go. Absolutely cracked when dealing damage. Support: Great supports in the game due to their buff and must-haves when buffing your team.
A Tier	Characters that are generally strong and will require some investment to reach their potential DPS: Will require some investment to compete with the top dogs in S Tier. Support: Great at their field and recommended to have if you don't have the S Tier Supports.
B Tier	Generally acceptable and can fill your team if you do not have the top units. DPS: Characters who require max investment, but may still not be enough to compete against the best DPS in the game due to how strong the A and S Tiers are. Support: Some characters listed here do not have much support abilities but they can support by Breaking the enemy and letting the main DPS attack them in a broken state.
C Tier	Mediocre or best suited to the opposite role. If the character is mainly a DPS character then they will be rated bad on support and vice versa. DPS: Characters put here are better off doing damage than supporting. Support: Characters put here are better at support roles than doing lots of damage.
D Tier	Generally bad. Characters that you should not invest at all due to better options DPS: Just bad at doing damage even if it's their main role. Support: Bad at supporting as there are better supports to add to the team.

Seorin	・All attacks have Break Damage. ・Good mobility allows her to dodge and reposition with ease. ・Skills are good against mobs and bosses.
Amamiya Mirei	・High Damage ・Self-sufficient, able to recover her own MP, decrease her own cooldown, and increase her own Power Gauge.
Go Gunhee	・Has multiple skills that can apply break. ・Provides buffs to enhance survivability and overall damage. ・Extremely strong when paired with a Light-element characters.
Goto Ryuji	・ Massive, beastly DPS and high Crit. ・Powerful Break skills. ・Great MP Management.
Isla Wright	・Provides a large variety of buffs ・Powerful passive that cuts down 2nd character's Ultimate skill cooldown ・Immensely powerful when paired with Dark-element hunters
Tawata Kanae	・Very high Crit ・Powerful against enemies in the Break State ・Held back by MP problems
Thomas Andre	・High damage output with the right build ・Decent as both tank and support with Shield abilities ・Decent MP despite need to spam skills
Yoo Soohyun	・Decent DPS regarless of the enemy's elemental weakness. ・Can apply Defense Penetration to make bosses less tanky. ・She has the ability to increase Fire Elemental Damage using Magic Reaction.

S Tier Characters

Alicia Blanche	・ Highest Water DPS in the game. ・Great against crowds due to her Freeze. ・Creates Shield with her Basic Skill for added protection against enemies.
Cha Hae-In	・Best damage dealer in the game currently. ・Stops enemies from healing themselves with her skill ・Can clear stages quickly due to her high damage.
Charlotte	・Has multiple crowd-control abilities ・Excels at dealing burst damage ・Abilities deal AoE damage
Esil Radiru	・Can apply Break quickly with the right combo. ・Damage is great against solo enemies and decent against mobs. ・Has good mobility.
Gina	・Generates Mana for increased damage output during prolonged battles. ・Requires top-tier Fire Element team to reach her full potential. ・Lackluster DPS
Han Se-Mi	・Provides Healing and MP recovery. ・She has multiple abilities that have Airborne effects. ・Buffs can help you stay longer in fights.
Harper	・High damage output ・Has multiple skills that can apply Break ・Provides buffs to other Dark element hunters
Meilin Fisher	・Decent healer ・Decent attack if her HP is high. ・Shines on supporting her team with buffs and can also remove enemy Shield with her Basic Skill.
Min Byung-Gu	・Best Healer in the game. ・Great support as he can buff teammates and weaken enemies with his skill.
Seo Jiwoo	・Best Break out of all Hunters which is great for bosses ・Provides team with Shield or bonus Break damage.

A Tier Characters

Character	Explanation
Choi Jong-In	・High amount of Fire damage at range ・Nice DoT(Damage over time) with his ability to burn. ・Has great debuffs for enemies
Emma Laurent	・Best all-around character thanks to her great Break damage ・Great AoE damage. ・Increases Fire damage and Defense Penetration for your team.
Lee Bora	・Decent Dark Damage. ・Great for bosses as she can debuff their attack and movement speed. ・Increases damage output with Charm.
Shimizu Akari	・Well-rounded support character ・More powerful with a light element team.
Silver Mane Baek Yoonho	・The lower his HP is, the greater the damage he deals ・Paired with the ability to Bleed, his damage rises exponentially. ・Only held back by the fact that you need to be careful using him because of his HP gimmick, otherwise a great Hunter for massive damage.

B Tier Characters

Baek Yoonho	・Great Break characters as his skills are centered around that playstyle ・A tank-type character with decent damage output ・Defense Debuff against enemies.
Hwang Dongsoo	・Decent Wind damage dealer ・A decent tank character with self shields. ・ Can remove shields from targets.
Kang Taeshik	・Ability to Bleed enemies which results in high DPS. ・ An SR character that can keep up with SSR characters with Advancements
Kim Chul	・Great Tank that can apply a shield to himself and the party. ・Can stun enemies for a few seconds making him a great support tank for his allies
Lim Tae-Gyu	・Okay Dark Damage ・Excellent Break damage ・Ultimate Skill is great against dealing with bosses as it has one of the hardest-hitting attacks in the game.
Park Heejin	・Decent support that can increase Ultimate damage ・Can remove debuffs.
Woo Jinchul	・Free character that offers great mobility and can dodge enemy attacks easily. Unfortunately, that's all he excels at as his damage is mediocre. Still, an okay unit if you want to play safe but there are better options.

C Tier Characters

Character	Explanation
Anna Ruiz	・Decent DPS with her skills ・Okay Break Damage ・Needs more investment to become more effective.
Hwang Dongsuk	・Self-buffing Tank that deals decent break damage ・There are better characters to use especially for team utility.
Lee Joohee	・Free character who is a decent healer and an okay buffer ・Outclassed by other characters in the same role
Nam Chae-Young	・Decent ranged Water damage but needs more upgrades for more damage ・Can Freeze enemies which is helpful so your stronger allies can attack with ease.
Song Chiyul	・Great against mobs but horrible against bosses which are rampant late game.
Yoo Jinho	・Easy to use in general ・Able to Break and Stun enemies ・As a free character, he is a decent all-rounder. Doesn't excel at anything but is a good substitute if you do not have better options.

D Tier Characters

Character	Explanation
Han Song-Yi	・Worst Water damage dealer in the game
Jo Kyuhwan	・Not much utility as he has no Airborne or Knockdown ・Mediocre damage dealer overall.
Kim Sangshik	・Weak Break on all his skills. ・An underwhelming hunter with low damage multipliers.
Park Beom-Shik	・Can spam Core Skills when low on HP but can only be activated once. ・Low multipliers on skills.
