Use Fire Elemental Skills and Weapons
Exploit Ice Bear Alpha's weakness by using Fire Elemental weapons. This can drastically boost your damage output, even if you are using a weapon with low Advancement. Additionally, you can also equip skills with Fire Element Runes as an additional boost to your attacks.
Focus On Destroying The Stones
Upon reaching x10 to x15 health, Ice Bear Alpha will start summoning three magical stones that slowly build up a status effect that can Freeze you. Instead of trying to burst down Ice Bear Alpha, focus on destroying these stones before you get frozen.
Stay Behind Ice Bear Alpha
Try to stay behind Ice Bear Alpha as much as possible throughout the fight to avoid his charge attack, which can deal massive damage if you are unable to evade it effectively.

Ice Bear Alpha can be quite difficult to take down due to his toughness. As much as possible, use Fire Element Hunters to maximize your damage output. Additionally, use characters with powerful AOE attacks to clear the Magical Stones once they are summoned.

Army of Shadow Unlock
If you are able to defeat Ice Bear Alpha, you will be able to summon him as one of your allies during combat by extracting him from the Army of Shadows menu.
Successfully extracting Ice Bear Alpha also grants his Shadow's Authority Passive, which gives all team members a small boost to their Defense.
Essence Stones and Stage Completion
Defeating Ice Bear Alpha will allow you to progress further in the story. You can also receive additional Essence Stones by completing the Battle Missions for this stage.
