Charlotte is a powerful DPS and her damage scales with her defense, so try to increase it as much as possible to maximize the effectiveness of your artifacts. This will allow her to tank enemy attacks while also dealing massive damage.
Choose Artifacts with Stats that fit Charlotte's Strengths
Charlotte's skills scale with their Defense stat and they specialize in the Dark element. So, if you have several options for the best artifacts, choose ones that further buff the mentioned stat and element.

The best weapon for any hunter that isn't Sung Jinwoo will always be their exclusive weapon as these will provide exclusive bonuses and synergize well with the hunter's skills.
However, if you don't have their exclusive weapon yet, it's best to choose a weapon that with the relevant stats, fits their role, and has been leveled up.

You can obtain Charlotte by pulling on the Gacha in the game. Click the ticket icon on the top right of your screen and trade your Essence Stones for Draw Tickets and use the ticket to pull on the banner that you want.
