Tawata Kanae excels as a Hunter with the 4-Piece Burning Curse Set, pairing well with either the Beast Set or the Crimson Knight's Set for powerful synergy.
She hrives with these sets due to their high-risk, high-reward synergy. Burning Curse amplifies her damage over time while Crimson Knight's Set boosts both offense and defense with sustained attacks. Meanwhile, the Beast Set enhances her crit-based playstyle, rapidly stacking attack buffs for explosive damage output. Together, they make her a relentless powerhouse in extended fights.
Tawata Kanae's skills scale with their Attack stat and they specialize in the Fire element. So, if you have several options for the best artifacts, choose ones that further buff the mentioned stat and element.

The best weapon for any hunter that isn't Sung Jinwoo will always be their exclusive weapon as these will provide exclusive bonuses and synergize well with the hunter's skills.
However, if you don't have their exclusive weapon yet, it's best to choose a weapon that with the relevant stats, fits their role, and has been leveled up.
If you don't have enough materials to level up all of a hunter's skills, you can focus on skills that have the most synergy with their exclusive weapon and passive ability.
