Igris Tips and Strategies |

|
At the start of the fight, Igris will have an armor that increases his defense. You need to Break this armor as quickly as possible to maximize your damage output. Equip multiple Break skills (such as Crushing Blow and Multistrike) and focus on breaking his armor before using your other skills to save MP.
Sung Jinwoo Best Skills and Runes
Attacking Igris with melee weapons can be difficult due to his constant AOE attacks. It is highly recommended to use a ranged weapon to attack him from a safe distance instead of charging at him with melee attacks.
During the fight, Igris will constantly cast large AOE attacks that are easy to avoid. However, once he reaches x10 to x15 health, he will start performing charge slashes that can be difficult to dodge. Upon reaching this phase, you should focus on dodging instead of attacking to increase your survivability.

Alternative Hunters |
Since Igris is weak to the Light Element, it is highly recommended to exploit this weakness for maximum damage output. Additionally, Hunters with powerful Break skills can help you destroy Igris' Shield much earlier, making the fight more manageable.
Your first encounter with Igris will be in Chapter 8-6 (Protector of the Throne) in Story Mode.
Story Mode Walkthrough and List of Chapters
If you are able to defeat Igris, you will be able to summon him as your ally during combat by extracting him from the Army of Shadows menu.
Successfully extracting Igris also grants his Shadow's Authority Passive, which gives all team members a small boost to their Critical Hit Rate.
Defeating Igris will allow you to progress further in the story. You can also receive additional Essence Stones by completing the Battle Missions for this stage.
