Focus On Dodging the Ice Spikes
Throughout the fight, Baruka will sometimes suddenly disappear from the arena and start hurling ice spikes for a few seconds. Since you are unable to attack Baruka during this move, immediately run around the arena, focus on dodging his attacks, and let your skills cool down.
Prepare For His Special Attack
Upon reaching x15 to x20 health, Baruka will perform a powerful attack at the center of the arena. At lower levels, this attack is likely to instantly kill you. With this in mind, it is highly recommended that you have the Daily Quest Completion Blessing Stone for an instant revive or invest in the Vitality stat to increase your HP and Defense.
Use Break and Fire Element
Baruka has an armor that increases his defense. You need to break this armor immediately to fully utilize your attacks. Make sure that you equip Skills and Runes that have Break (such as Crushing Blow and Multistrike) to make the fight more manageable. Additionally, use Fire Element and take advantage of Baruka's weakness to gain additional bonus damage.

Most of Baruka's attacks can be devastating if you are unable to dodge them. For additional survivability, it is highly recommended that you party up with Hunters who can provide some healing with their support skills.
Alternatively, if you are confident in your ability to dodge Baruka's attacks, you can party up with Hunters focused on dealing damage to shorten the fight and exploit Baruka's Elemental Weakness.

Chapter 11-5 Boss
Your first encounter with Baruka will be in Chapter 11-5 (Overwhelming Power) in Story Mode.

Baruka Boss Rewards
Army of Shadow Unlock
If you are able to defeat Baruka, you will be able to summon him as your ally during combat by extracting him from the Army of Shadows menu.
Successfully extracting Baruka also grants his Shadow's Authority Passive, which gives all team members a boost on their Attack stat.
Essence Stones and Stage Completion
Defeating Baruka will allow you to progress further in the story. You can also receive additional Essence Stones by completing the Battle Missions for this stage.
