You can find Cannon Towers in any of the sectors and difficulties mentioned above!

Located in Automaton Outposts

You will start encountering Cannon Towers when you have unlocked the Medium difficulty, which may have Medium Outposts within the planet you have deployed into.

Shoot Weak Spot Using Support Weapon

Support Weapons such as the Expendable Anti-Tank can easily destroy a Cannon Tower as long as you shoot its weak spot, which is the exhaust vent at its back.

Make sure that a Cannon Tower does not see you when sneaking behind it. If it sees you, it will be harder for you to go behind it as it keeps track of you!

Call Down a Stratagem

Helldivers 2 - Use a Stratagem Against the Cannon Tower

Another way to destroy a Cannon Tower is to simply call down a Stratagem like the Orbital Precision Strike at its location. It will be destroyed by just using one Stratagem as long as the explosion hits the Cannon Tower's weak spot.

When the Cannon Tower's turret glows red, it is a second away from shooting its laser beam. With this, quickly dive to the side to avoid taking damage!
