Flying units work exceptionally well against the numerous ground troops that Whitemane deploys since a majority of these are melee minis.

Core Hounds work well for pushing because of their high HP along with their ability to Revive one another.

We also run Quilboars since they can deal with Pyromancers as needed, along with a S.A.F.E. Pilot for emergency wave clear.

Step-by-Step Guide

Defend Against the Initial Onslaught

Images were captured in Heroic Campaign mode, where enemies have talents and level boosts.

Whitemane will start with a Fire Elemental and a single Footman on the right side. Use Whelp Eggs and Harpies or another flyer of your choice to dispatch them.

Typically, Whitemane will summon a complete set of 4 Footment on the left by the time you finish dispatching the first wave. Counter these with Rend Blackhand, Drake, or more Whelp Eggs.

Capture the Left Meeting Stone

Capturing the meeting stone using a Quilboar.

Deploying Kobolds near the left Gold vein.

Capturing and holding the left meeting stone is important because it is the fastest way to reach the left gold deposit. Additionally, it allows us a quick way to reach Whitemane, which will be important later.

Damage Mograine

With the left meeting stone captured, focus on deploying troops on the right lane while defending your meeting stone with Quilboars and Whelp Eggs. Use Core Hounds in the front, followed by your army of flyers.

Send Kobolds slightly behind your pushing wave so that they can safely reach the gold deposit on the right lane.

Damage Whitemane

Once your pushing wave reaches Mograine, start deploying troops more aggressively on the left lane so that Whitemane starts taking damage as well.

Kill both Bosses

This is the part where timing is important. Once you have Mograine low on HP, with Whitemane at around half HP, send troops down the right lane with the intent of finishing Mograine off.

At the same time, you will want to monitor your troops who are hitting Whitemane and decide if you need to send even more troops through the left meeting stone in order to kill her.

Ideally, you want Mograine to die first since your troops will continue hitting Whitemane even if she is already invulnerable. This leaves them vulnerable to enemy units since they've locked on to the temporarily immortal Whitemane.

Use Flying Units

Whitemane uses Footmen, Fire Elementals, and Harvest Golems as her ground units.

Whelp Eggs counters all these ground minis, Footmen especially well, since these minis stop to attack the eggs and then die from the AoE damage of each whelp. Fire Elementals are Resistant while Harvest Golems can Rebirth, so you may want to deploy Harpies in addition to the Whelp Eggs to deal with these minis.

Use Quilboars Against Ranged Units

A big threat to our Flying team comp. are Whitemane's Pyromancers. These minis one-shot our Whelp Eggs and our Harpies, so quickly send out a Quilboar to get rid of these pesky Pyromancers as soon as you spot them.
