    There is another vase to the left of the lake, in the ruins, BEFORE entering the temple

    There are at least three artifacts in the prelude. The aforementioned book, and then after the whip scene there is a bunch of ruins on the path to the left of the cave you need to enter. There are two rock arches you can crawl under. One has a star like artifact next to a skull, the one further down the path has a vase on the ground.

    There is also an artifact. After the whip scene on the river bank you can turn left and follow a path to a warrior outpost. Crouch under the stone and there's a mace head on the right
