Wanderer is a viable user of Marechaussee Hunter when paired with Furina, giving him higher damage potentials and allowing him to forego some CRIT Rate for more CRIT DMG.

When Wanderer is running this build, Cashflow Supervision becomes his best-in-slot, overtaking Tulaytullah's Remembrance if Wanderer's HP consistently increases and decreases.

Desert Pavilion Chronicle set is Wanderer's best artifact. Because the bulk of his DMG come from his Normal and Charged Attacks, this artifact set greatly increases Wanderer's performance as an Anemo Main DPS!

Using Shimenawa's Reminiscence can achieve a similar effect to Desert Pavilion, but at the cost of some of his energy. Marechaussee Hunter is also a viable and powerful option if Wanderer is paired with an HP-draining ally like Furina.

Because of Wanderer's flexibility to be slotted into multiple team comps due to his ascension passive, you will either want a mix of two different elements of Pyro, Cryo, Electro, or Hydro, or another Anemo that can support him.

Most of the his teams require either Faruzan or Bennett as their abilities to increase Anemo DMG and ATK respectively will greatly benefit his DPS.

Due to being an Anemo unit with Faruzan as a premier support, Wanderer is able to function as a hypercarry when given proper units to work with.

The third members of each team provide different potencies to their buffs, with C4 Jean decreasing Anemo resistance, Yun Jin providing Normal Attack damage, and Furina giving an overall damage buff.

Wanderer (Scaramouche) Talents and How to Use

Normal Attack

Normal Attack: Yuuban Meigen
Performs up to three wind blades dealing Anemo DMG. Charge Attack Consumes stamina to unleash a build-up of high wind pressure, dealing Anemo DMG. Plunge Attack: Calling upon the power of Anemo, the Wanderer plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in his path. Deals AoE Anemo DMG upon impact with the ground.

Normal Attacks are Main Source of Damage

Use Wanderer's Wind Blades to perform ranged normal attacks! His Normal Attack talents cover a wide area, perfect for triggering multiple Swirl reactions. On the other hand, his Charged Attacks target an enemy to deal AoE Anemo DMG to anyone that surrounds it.

Elemental Skill

Hanega: Song of the Wind
Deals Anemo DMG momentarily after which the Wanderer hovers midair. He then enters Windfavored state, converting his normal and charged attacks to Kuugo: Fushoudan and Toufukai, respectively. Flavor Text: The world dances in a weightless whirl, presenting a secret that can only be found in the flowers.

Allows Wanderer to Fly

Upon using the Wanderer's Elemental Skill, he will momentarily deal Anemo damage before hovering above ground. He can maneuver up, sidewards, or forward, but he cannot descend.

Once mid-air the Wanderer also enters the Windfavored state and will consequently become unable to do plunging attacks.

Improved aerial normal and charged attacks

While he's in the Windfavored state, his Normal and Charged Attacks will be converted into Kuugo: Fushoudan and Kuugo: Toufukai respectively. Simply put, the DMG these attacks deal and their AoE is increased.

Their DMG will be considered Normal and Charged Attack DMG respectively. Also, Kuugo: Toufukai will not consume Stamina, and he can remain hovering for a certain duration.

Limited points to consume

While hovering, the Wanderer will consume the Kuugoryoku Points to maintain it. If he sprints in midair, this will become his alternate sprint.

If you jump in this state, it will expend points to climb higher. Holding jump will cause persistent point consumption to keep increasing hovering height.

Elemental Burst

Kyougen: Five Ceremonial Plays
Compresses a vacuum of Anemo ball that deals multiple instances of Anemo upon contact. If Wanderer uses his burst while in the Windfavored state, Windfavored will end immediately. Flavor Text: Bright be the narrowed gaze of the sky, casting its sight on dreams both past and present, like radiance washing over dust on the winds.

Anemo Burst Damage

The Wanderer's Elemental Burst stomps a compressed air to the enemies, which deals five devastating instances of Anemo AoE DMG. If the Wanderer is in the hovering state after using his Burst, his hovering state will promptly end.

Hanega: Song of the Wind will gain different buffs depending on the element it Swirled. This buff can occur two times simultaneously.

The Wanderer can absorb two elements at once during his Elemental Skill if it comes in contact with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro. These elements will give Scaramouche buff effects depending on the contact element.

When Wanderer is in a hovering state, if his normal or charged attack hits an enemy, there is a chance to gain a buff that allows him to sprint midair without consuming points. This buff effect will also fire wind arrows to attack the enemy.
