Item Shop and Treasure Chests

You can purchase Second Seals for 2,500 Gold at the Item Shop in the Somniel or you can obtain them from Treasure Chests. Below are the Second Seals we've acquired at the beginning of the listed chapters.

What are Second Seals?

Changes the Base Class of a Unit

Fire Emblem Engage Reclassing

Second Seals are used to change between Base or Advanced classes of a unit to another. These are particularly useful if you plan to have a specific build for a character or want a team composition that fits your needs.

Master Seals are Required to Promote Classes

Aside from Second Seals, Master Seals are used to promote a unit to an Advanced class from its Base class. Advanced classes have enhanced stats, new skills, and can equip more weapons. You can use Second Seals to switch between Advanced classes as long as you have the required proficiencies.

Can Reset Level Upon Reaching Cap

Fire Emblem Engage Level Reset

You can spend a Second Seal to reset the level of your class back to 1 but maintain the stats you've grown thus far once you hit the level cap of a class. This lets you continue gaining levels and stats.
