Warcraft Rumble - Ghoulia Duskwood Campaign Guide

Ghoulia is the boss for Campaign Map 3-1 of the Duskwood Zone in Warcraft Rumble. Read on to learn how to beat Heroic Ghoulia, the enemies that spawn along it, rewards for beating it, as well as the map layout and recommended setup for Ghoulia!

This deck will utilize spells like Chain Lightning and Blizzard to clear out enemies and deal damage to Ghoulia. This is to avoid having too many units on the field, which Ghoulia can use to heal herself. With that said, it is also advised you do not use any Squad Minis.

It is also good to have a balanced deck that includes Melee, Ranged, Flying and AoE Minis to handle the enemies Ghoulia will summon.

How to Beat Heroic Ghoulia

Below are the following guides to help you complete the Heroic Campaign Map of Ghoulia.

Ghoulia Will Now Consume Your Minis

For this Heroic version of Ghoulia, she will now consume your Minis after defeating them to get stronger. Once she gets strong enough, she will begin to initiate an attack on your base.

Prevent Minis From Dying Near Ghoulia

You will have to overwhelm Ghoulia with numbers in order to prevent her from consuming your fallen Minis and attacking your base. Be sure that you have Tank Minis in your arsenal so that they could endure the hits taken from the boss.

You could also send out Ranged Minis, such as the Darkspear Troll, to provide backup for your Tank Minis.

Take Control of the Right Lane

From a tactical standpoint, the right lane is the more advantageous lane to send out your Minis. The presence of both a Meeting Stone and an Ore Vein will help advance your troops faster towards the boss and provide gold resources for you to send out troops.

Defend the Left Lane

While you focus your offensive on the right lane, be sure not to neglect the left lane of the map as enemies will surely be marching there towards your base. Send out some Minis on the left lane to increase your overall defense.

Focus Minis on the Right Lane

You may want to focus most of your Minis on the right lane to secure the Meeting Stone and deny the enemy's ore vein. Having the Meeting Stone and ore vein will help you send more of your units to Ghoulia faster.

It is also good to always send your Flying Minis on this lane too because they are able to attack enemies walking on the left lane due to the higher ground advantage. This will set up a decent defense for the left lane even if you do not send that many Minis there.

Use Spells on Groups of Enemies and Ghoulia

Assist your units by using your spells frequently, like Chain Lightning, on groups of enemies or on Ghoulia. You can combo this by placing Jaina beforehand to increase the power of your spells significantly.

This will make it easier to take them down without crowding the map with too many Minis. Although, be aware of the delay on your spells since not all of them activate instantly, and the enemy can just walk right past it.

Mine the Ore Vein on the Left Lane

At the same time, you need to mine the ore vein on the left lane by summoning a Kobold there, along with another Mini to protect it. As previously mentioned, you can also have a Flying Mini on the leftmost part of the right lane to protect them too. This ensures you have enough resources to keep spawning more units or using spells on the right.

Once you have control over both lanes, it will become significantly easier to defeat Ghoulia since she will lack the resources while you overwhelm her.

Duskwood 3-1 has two lanes that lead directly to Ghoulia. On the right, you have a meeting stone that can be a good spot to cover so that you can attack on both sides, or if you are confident with your Fast Tanks, you can go straight with the left lane.
