Use Light Treads to Avoid Enemy Attacks

It's tough to land hits on the Enforcer in mid-range shootouts, while the boss can effectively hit you without much challenge. That's why we recommend you go out with treads for a boost to your health. But use light treads instead of heavy treads so you can still have room to maneuver in case the Enforcer tries to hit you with one of its many close-range attacks.

We recommend you bring Gatling guns and grenade cannons to the fight with the Enforcer. Both of these weapons can easily stagger the enemy, allowing you to gain the upper hand in damage before your opponent retaliates. Shoot while moving sideways to avoid getting hit, and charge forward.

Use Target Assist To Keep Track of the Enemy

If you get a Soft Lock on the boss and press R3, you will trigger Hard Lock or Target Assist. This makes combat easier because there is no need to follow the enemy with the camera controls. However, if the enemy goes off-screen with the camera, the lock-on will be temporarily disengaged, so be sure to not fiddle with the camera controls too much during combat.

Using Tank Legs Makes the Fight Easier

Fire Off Your Gatling Guns As You Close In

Fighting the Enforcer will be much easier if you equip tank legs because of two things - extra HP for your mech since it's hard to avoid the Enforcer's attacks, as well as the ability to fire your SONGBIRDS Grenade Cannons on the move.

The Enforcer has a rapid close-range attack that is hard to dodge horizontally, but easy to avoid if you fly up.

The Enforcer Gains New Attacks When Its HP Reaches 50%

Evade the Enforcer's Shockwave Attack By Flying Up

When the Enforcer's HP drops to around 50%, it will stab the ground with its weapon to create shockwaves. Don't stay on the ground or else you will get hit, so fly up whenever it does this move. It will stand still while it's doing this attack, so you can hit it with your ranged weapons.
