How to Beat Sulla (Boss)

How to Beat Sulla Ac6

This is a guide on how to defeat Sulla in Armored Core 6 (AC6). We also provide recommended assemblies (equipment), so if you're having trouble defeating Sulla or find it challenging, please refer to this guide.

How to Beat Sulla

Recommended Weapons For Sulla

Left Hand: Vvc-770LB Laser Blade

Instead of the default blade, it is recommended to use the Vvc-770LB Laser Blade that you can purchase from the Shop. Its charged attack has a wide radius, which is perfect when it comes to hitting Sulla.

The Rest of Your Build Can Be the Same As for the Balteus Fight

There is no issue with building your mech based on suggested builds for Balteus, who comes after Sulla. Balteus is powerful, so it's a good idea to get used to your builds with Sulla.

Remember: You Can Always Change Your Build From the Retry Screen

If a certain build isn't working out for you, you can always change it through the ASSEMBLY button on the retry screen. If you're facing this boss for the first time, we recommend equipping weapons that will get you through the mission first, then changing your build once you are defeated for the first time.

Sulla Boss Strategy

Use Target Assist To Keep Track of the Enemy

If you get a Soft Lock on the boss and press R3, you will trigger Hard Lock or Target Assist. This makes combat easier because there is no need to follow the enemy with the camera controls. However, if the enemy goes off-screen with the camera, the lock-on will be temporarily disengaged, so be sure to not fiddle with the camera controls too much during combat.

Take Cover, Then Deal Damage With Close Range Attacks

You'll have to take on a more cautious approach when facing Sulla. Take cover from his ranged attacks, then close in with your melee weapons. Once you're done, take cover again and wait for the opportunity to strike. By doing this repeatedly, you can whittle down Sulla's HP without taking much damage.

Sulla’s Rockets Trigger an Alert so You Can Dodge Them

Sulla has a devastating rocket attack that will trigger an alert in your AC. If you're too close to him, this attack is extremely hard to dodge, so get as far away as you can when you hear your attack alarm beeping.

Always Use Quick Boost To Dodge Attacks

When you're within Sulla's firing range, always make sure to use your Quick Boost and dodge to the side until you get close enough to carry out your melee attack.

Always Fire Your Missiles

Always fire missiles at any time. If you can't find any cover, use missiles to wear Sulla down while you're getting another melee attack ready.

Don’t Always Be Too Close to Sulla

Unless you're ready to hit Sulla with another melee attack, try to keep your distance, take cover, and spam missiles. As we mentioned above, being too close to him will get you hit with his near-unavoidable missile attack.
