The MG-014 LUDLOW boasts high damage per second (DPS) and is a powerful machine gun for close and medium-range combat. Equipping it in both hands makes it easier to fill your enemy's Impact Bar and induce stagger (a state where the enemy is stunned and takes increased damage). However, be careful with using it as the Ludlow can run out of bullets farily quickly.
The DF-BA-06 XUAN-GE is a bazooka that can deliver decent HP and Impact damage even from long distances. It is particularly effective against the slow-moving Juggernaut boss in Chapter 1, Mission 8 (Operation Wallclimber) as long as you can get behind it.
The HI-32: BU-TT/A pulse blade is the very first melee weapon you get in the game. While it's risky to get close to enemies, the weapon's high HP and Impact damage more than makes the gamble worth it. To maximize its effectiveness, stagger your enemies with ranged weapons first, then close in with this weapon to deal critical damage.
The Vvc-70VPM is a plasma missile launcher that fires projectiles into the sky before hitting enemies on the ground. This unique feature makes it effective against enemies with strong frontal armor or shields, since the projectiles can bypass both of those and hit their backs instead.

The VP-66LH is a well-balanced laser handgun. With high stats in all aspects and a generous ammo capacity, it can adapt to various situations, from missions with numerous small enemies to boss battles.
The HI-16: GU-Q1 pulse gun deals high damage against Pulse Armor (shields that must be destroyed before dealing damage). It's particularly effective against Balteus, the boss of Chapter 1, who uses Pulse Armor a lot. With the HI-16: GU-Q1, you can break Balteus' Pulse Armor very quickly. Just remember that this weapon has limited range and high projectile spread, so get close to your enemy before firing.
The Vvc-770LB is a laser blade with a potent charged attack. Charging the blade increases its attack range and significantly boosts its damage output. Moreover, it can reliably hit enemy ACs, as its attack range is longer than the length of a Quick Boost or dodge.
The BML-G1/P03VTC-08 is an 8-round vertical missile launcher with high HP and Impact damage. It excels at hitting large enemies like Balteus. However, since its projectiles follow a vertical trajectory without Area-of-Effect (AoE) damage, its attacks can be evaded by high-mobility ACs.

The DF-GA-08 HU-BEN is a Gatling Gun with a high rate of fire and a large ammo capacity, making a great weapon with high DPS. You'll need to spool the barrels first, but once you start firing, you can overwhelm enemies with a barrage of bullets. It's especially effective against high-HP enemies like the Sea Spider, which you can then stagger for even more damage.
The PB-033M ASHMEAD is a Pile Bunker with high damage. Its charged attack multiplier is higher than blade-type weapons, making it a very deadly close-quarters weapon. However, it has a low attack range. We recommend you stagger your enemy first before closing in and using this weapon.
SONGBIRDS is a Grenade Cannon with high Impact damage. Due to its wide explosion radius, it's easy to hit enemies and efficiently trigger Stagger (when the enemy is down and takes increased damage). You will have to stop moving if you're using these weapons while equipping Bipedal legs or Reverse Joint legs, so we recommend you use Tetrapod legs or treads so you can fire these cannons on the move.

SG-027 ZIMMERMAN is a powerful shotgun designed for close-quarters combat. Dual-wielding it allows you to stagger enemies when they get close, which opens them up to critical attacks from your other weapons. It is particularly effective against large enemies since less shots will miss.
VE-60SNA is a Stun Needle Launcher with high HP and Impact damage. It's essential for the Ice Worm boss battle, but you can continue to use it after clearing that mission. It has a high direct hit bonus (damage multiplier against staggered enemies), making it a great weapon against staggered enemies.

LR-037 HARRIS is a highly versatile linear rifle. It offers high overall performance, making it suitable for a wide range of tasks, from dealing with regular enemies to boss battles. Its standout feature is its charged attack, which deals high Impact damage to enemies. With its fast projectile speed, it's easy to stagger highly mobile enemies with it. In fact, it can stagger foes like the IB-01: CEL 240 with just two charged shots.
WB-0010 DOUBLE TROUBLE is a chainsaw with exceptionally high post-stagger damage, making its charged attacks extremely powerful against staggered enemies. Use it in tandem with weapons that can stagger enemies quickly like the HARRIS linear rifle for maximum effectiveness.
