How to Beat ALLMIND Armored Core 6

This is a guide on how to defeat ALLMIND in Armored Core 6 (AC6). We also provide recommended builds (equipment), so if you're having trouble defeating ALLMIND or find it too strong, please use this as a reference.

How to Beat ALLMIND

Remember: You Can Always Change Your Build From the Retry Screen

If a certain build isn't working out for you, you can always change it through the ASSEMBLY button on the retry screen. If you're facing this boss for the first time, we recommend equipping weapons that will get you through the mission first, then changing your build once you are defeated for the first time.

Shotguns and Needle Launchers are extremely powerful, especially the Needle Launchers since they deal incredible HP and Impact damage. When firing the Needle Launcher, your movement is restricted, so use it in the air or while the boss is staggered.

ALLMIND Boss Strategy (1st Battle)

Use Target Assist To Keep Track of the Enemy

If you get a Soft Lock on the boss and press R3, you will trigger Hard Lock or Target Assist. This makes combat easier because there is no need to follow the enemy with the camera controls. However, if the enemy goes off-screen with the camera, the lock-on will be temporarily disengaged, so be sure to not fiddle with the camera controls too much during combat.

You Will Face A Lot of Enemies

1st Battle 2nd Battle

In your first battle with ALLMIND, you'll be facing off with 4 other enemies, but Ayre will eventually also join in to fight alongside you. However, 2 Sea Spiders will show up too. It's better to just ignore the small fry and focus all your attention on ALLMIND, as it will help you save ammo. Also, once ALLMIND's HP drops below 20 percent, both Ayre and the Sea Spiders will disappear, leaving you in a 1-on-1 fight with ALLMIND.

Dodge the Opening Beam With a Lateral QB!

ALLMIND will always fire a beam at the beginning of the battle, so use QB (Quick Boost) to avoid it. It's also possible to evade it with your Assault Boost.

Watch Out for ALLMIND'S Charged Attack

When ALLMIND's weapon glows purple, it's a sign that it's charging a beam. Be cautious and ready to evade with QB when it fires the beam at the beginning.

You Can Completely Ignore the Surrounding Enemies

There are 4 minor enemies, but you can completely ignore them and continue attacking ALLMIND. In this case, always be conscious of staying in the air and aim to finish the battle quickly with weapons like the Needle Launcher, which can deal substantial HP and Impact damage.

If you have the OS upgrade Assault Armor, you can get close to ALLMIND in the beginning, detonate your assault armor, and then use the IA-C01W2: Moonlight light wave blade to shave off a significant portion of ALLMIND'S HP. This can also kill the minor enemies with ALLMIND outright.

ALLMIND Boss Strategy (2nd Battle)

CheckmarkAvoid ALLMIND's Thrust and Sweep Move

Ayre Will Join the Fight Along With Two Sea Spiders

Ayre Joins

In the 2nd Battle, Ayre will join the fight, and there will be two Sea Spiders as enemies. While Ayre distracts the Sea Spiders, focus your attention on ALLMIND. Making the boss' HP drop below 50% will make the Sea Spiders disappear anyway.

It's Okay to Completely Ignore the Sea Spiders

The two Sea Spiders are constantly in flight and don't actively engage in attacks. Ayre will draw their aggro, so it's okay to completely ignore them and focus on fighting ALLMIND.

Attack When ALLMIND Fires Its Beams

ALLMIND has a beam attack that requires it to stop to fire. This is the perfect opportunity to attack it with your own weapons and deal significant damage.

Many of ALLMIND’S Close-Range Attacks Can Be Avoided With a Frontal QB

ALLMIND performs close-range attacks similar to Ayre in her boss battle. You can often evade these by moving forward with a frontal QB. Be cautious as some of ALLMIND's attacks have multiple strikes, so don't let your guard down.

Avoid ALLMIND's Thrust and Sweep Move

ALLMIND has a move where they'll thrust forward and try to strike you, then circle to sweep and strike you again. The first attack can be avoided by Quick Boosting to the side. The sweeping attack, however, has a wide area of effect, making it challenging to dodge.

However, there's a brief safe zone between the hitbox of the sweep and where the shockwave emanates. When you see ALLMIND getting ready to do the sweep, perform a QB to the right, QB to the front, then stop in place. You should be able to avoid it with that.

Depending on timing and positioning, you might still get hit regardless, so keep an eye on your HP.
