How to Beat Raven Armored Core 6

This is a guide on how to defeat the Raven in Armored Core 6 (AC6). We also provide recommended builds (equipment), so if you're having trouble defeating the Raven or find it challenging, please use this as a reference.

For the fight with Raven, we recommend you use lightweight tank treads and Gatling guns. By constantly moving while maintaining your distance, you can make it for Raven to get close to you. If he tries to get close, you will stagger them easily with your Gatling gun.

Equip grenade cannons on both your shoulders, and try to hit Raven either when they're staggered or when you're above them.

Remember: You Can Always Change Your Build From the Retry Screen

If a certain build isn't working out for you, you can always change it through the ASSEMBLY button on the retry screen. If you're facing this boss for the first time, we recommend equipping weapons that will get you through the mission first, then changing your build once you are defeated for the first time.

Raven Boss Strategy

Use Target Assist To Keep Track of the Enemy

If you get a Soft Lock on the boss and press R3, you will trigger Hard Lock or Target Assist. This makes combat easier because there is no need to follow the enemy with the camera controls. However, if the enemy goes off-screen with the camera, the lock-on will be temporarily disengaged, so be sure to not fiddle with the camera controls too much during combat.

Be Cautious of Attacks from the Air

Raven will fire off missiles and his bazooka when he ascends into the air. Evade these attacks by using your quick boosts.

Keep Your Distance

Raven will try to attack you in close quarters, so make sure to maintain some distance between you and him unless you need to get near Raven for a close-range attack.

Also, remember that Raven will try to get close to you after he gets staggered, so move to a position where he can't reach you until you can counter-attack.

Seize the Opportunity to Attack After Avoiding Close Combat

After avoiding close combat, there will be a significant opening, so follow up with your own attacks.

Aim To Stagger Raven With Your Gatling Guns

Your Gatling guns are your main weapon in staggering Raven, so use them liberally. Once he's staggered, fire off your grenade cannons. If your Gatling guns overheat, then just focus on evading attacks until they're good to fire again.
