Online play is not immediately available; you must clear the final mission of Chapter 2, Ocean Crossing. You can reach this point in approximately 8 hours if you progress quickly.

You Don't Need a PS Plus Subscription to Share ACs

A PS Plus subscription is not required for sharing ACs. That way, it's easier to help other players who are stuck, or to show off your own custom AC builds.

Matchmaking for online play involves creating rooms and allowing others to join.

In 1v1 Matches, You Lose When You Are Destroyed Once

1v1 battles follow a simple rule: if your AC is destroyed once, you lose. You win by destroying the enemy AC.

In 3v3 Matches, You Can Respawn Multiple Times

In 3v3 battles, you can respawn multiple times even if you're defeated. Victory is decided by which team has the most number of points by the end of the match. Additionally, there's a system where the player with the highest points during the match becomes a priority target. If they're destroyed, the opposing team gets bonus points.
