Jin'do the Hexxer Still Turns Your Minis Into Chickens

Similar to the normal campaign, the Heroic version of Jin'do the Hexxer will turn any of your Minis into chickens when they get close enough to his vicinity. This makes attacking him harder since he can neutralize any threat he sees coming.

Send Out Squad Minis as Decoys

You could send out Squad Minis, such as Defias Bandits or Footmen, to avoid getting your strongest Minis turned into chickens. Deploying them will ensure that you maintain your strongest attackers in your army.

Deploy Unbound Minis to Deal Damage

Use Unbound Minis, such as S.A.F.E. Pilot and Quilboar, to have them attack Jin'do the Hexxer with enough damage before they get turned into chickens. Unbound Minis are your safest bet to inflict damage on the boss and serve as decoys for incoming ally Minis.

Use Bait Minis before Attacking

Jin'do the Hexxer has the ability to turn the nearest enemy troops around him into chickens. You can have Skeleton Party or any Unbound unit spawn right next to him to bait him into turning your units into chickens as your actual assault unit remains safe.

Alternatively, you can have your fast troops like Prowler or Raptors scurry towards the boss to bait him into using his ability while your actual troops march in relative safety.

Have Ranged Attackers Assault the Boss

Ranged units like Darkspear Troll is good to have since your Troops will be chickens as soon as they get close enough to the boss. Ranged units will be safer fighting from a distance and just have bait Troops keep the boss busy.
