The hardest part of the battle is the full frontal assault when Hezrul Bloodmark decides to move forward. He will have melee ranged units like Mountaineer, Vultures, Pyromancers, and Murloc Tidehunters in his frontal assault. Having a balanced team with good AoE, Ranged, Bombard, and Melee traits are the key to thinning out his army.

Take Out The Bloodguard Lieutenants First

Warcraft Rumble - Use Tanky One-Target Units
Take out the Lieutenants first with One-Target Tank units like General Drakkisath supported by either Ranged or Squad units in order to advance your troops faster.

Control Both Towers

Warcraft Rumble - Control Both Towers

There will be two towers on the field, each guarded and patrolled by a Bloodguard Lieutenant. Take control of both towers to make it easier to advance troops for the forward assault at the latter part of the game.

Bombard the Horde Early

Warcraft Rumble - Bombard

Once you taken control of the second tower, have S.A.F.E. Pilot bombard the enemy before they begin walking. This will greatly increase the chance of thinning them out before they reach and take back the second tower. Have Ranged units ready for the Vultures, and One-Target Tank units like General Drakkisath ready for Hezrul himself.
