How to Beat Heroic Vultros

Below are the following guides to help you complete the Heroic Campaign Map of Vultros.

Vultros Will Spawn Lots of Vultures When They Kill Angry Chickens

For this Heroic version of Vultros, it will spawn a large number of Vultures if it manages to take out the Angry Chickens in the middle of the map with its own Vultures.

Take Out Angry Chickens Using AoE Attacks or Spells

Make sure that you will take out the Angry Chickens in the middle of the map before the enemy Vultures to prevent Vultros from spawning lots of Vultures on your path.

Chain Lightning or Gnoll Brute are effective in dealing with the swarms of chickens when you encounter them.

Take Control of the Right Enemy Tower

From a tactical standpoint, it is best to capture the enemy tower on the right instead of the one on the left. The right lane tower covers less distance to approach Vultros, helping your Minis deal damage to the boss.

Send out your Tank Minis to increase your chances of surviving the swarm of enemies Vultros sends along your path. Reinforce your Tank with Ranged Minis to provide ranged support when needed.

How to Beat Vultros

Use Chain Lightning on Initial Wave

To start, you will want to use Chain Lightning to clear out the initial wave of chickens and vultures. Doing so will help you setup your next units to siege the Guard Tower.

Control the Guard Tower on the Right Lane

Next, you would need to control the guard tower on the right lane since this is the best lane for attacking. Send out your Tank Minis, such as Fire Elemental or Gnoll Brute, along with your Ranged Minis like Jaina and Darkspear Troll.

Once you have captured the tower, you can start summoning your units there to attack Vultros quickly.

Clear Large Groups with S.A.F.E. Pilot

Vultros will send out a lot of enemies at you at once to try and overwhelm you. However, you can counter this by utilizing S.A.F.E Pilot and making her land on them. This will clear out most of the enemies while the rest of your units can clean up and charge forward.

Vultros Map Layout

Westfall 2-1 has three lanes. Two Enemy Towers are positioned on the right and left lanes with a Switch that lets you access the middle lane. Taking the Tower on the right is the best option as it takes you closer to the chicken coop and to Vultros themselves.
